  • Budgeting and regulatory compliance: Ensuring proper preparation of the annual budget, Federal grant applications (including H80/330), and Federal Financial Reports (FFR’s).
  • Audits: Preparing for annual independent financial statement audits and Single Audits (A-133), coordinating with external auditors, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Grant reporting: Creating and maintaining monthly expenditure reports for grant reimbursement and revenue recognition, and preparing regulatory reports like UDS, MCVR, and Medicare Cost Reports.
  • Accounting software: Customizing financial reports and setting up general ledger accounts and cost centers in various accounting software.
  • Special projects: Overseeing the implementation of a 340B In-House Pharmacy, including construction and hiring.
  • Medicaid rate appeals: Preparing necessary schedules and documentation for clients undergoing Medicaid rate appeals.

  • Guiding healthcare organizations through every step required to attain FQHC Look-Alike designation, ensuring compliance, readiness, and successful approval.
